VIDEO TERMS & CONDITIONS
VIDEO ADVERTISING MATERIAL & COPY, INCLUDING WEBINARS
1.1 Video Advertising Material & Copy, including live and on-demand webinars, are subject to specific video production requirements. The Company will communicate in writing via email to the Advertiser and/or Advertising Agent these specific video production requirements. These will be forwarded as and when the Advertising Contract comes into effect.
1.2 The rate for video shooting and production is based on Gauteng as the main location. Should the video production take place outside of Gauteng, additional location costs would apply.
1.3 Video Advertising Material & Copy that forms part of a cover story package, will focus only on the topic covered in the relevant cover story published within the particular magazine.
1.4 The storyboard and script will be supplied by the Company to the Advertiser 5 (five) days before the actual shooting will take place. The Advertiser has to revert back to the Company before the actual shoot commences regarding any changes to the storyboard and script. If no feedback is received from the Advertiser before the actual shoot, the storyboard and script will be viewed as approved. No additional changes will be allowed to the storyboard and script during the actual shooting, that was not communicated by the Advertiser prior to the shooting commencing.
1.5 The Advertiser has to supply all additional images, logos and/or slides to the Company before post editing starts.
1.6 The Company has to be notified 2 (two) days prior to the video shooting should the Advertiser require
any additional marketing props, banners, branded vehicles, products and such as this affects the lighting
requirement and shooting times.
1.7 As and when the video shooting is completed, as per the video specifications document, the Company requires a minimum of 5 (five) days for video editing, pending the complexity of the video material, to produce the first draft of the Video Advertising Material & Copy.
1.8 When completed, the Company will supply the Advertiser and/or Advertising Agent with a low resolution version of the Video Advertising Material & Copy for review, feedback and any possible additional editing purposes. The Advertiser and/or Advertising Agent will have 5 (five) working days of receipt of the first edited version to revert with feedback relating to any additional post editing required. The Company will have 3 (three) working days for the second set of post editing. The Company will re-submit a second draft of the Video Advertising Material & Copy back to the Advertiser and/or Advertising Agent, which will be allowed 3 (three) working days to revert with feedback.
1.9 No new edits relating to the Video Advertising Material & Copy may be requested after the second draft stage, that were not raised during the first initial post editing feedback.
1.10 No re-shoot will take place if the information was not part of the final approved storyboard and script.
1.11 If any animation, sound effects or professional voice over would be required, the Company will supply the Advertiser with a quote for these additional services, to be approved by the Advertiser.
1.12 The Company reserves the right to invoice the Advertiser and/or Advertising Client for the Advertising Contract relating to video services should the Advertiser and/or Advertising Agent be in breach of the above mentioned video editing deadlines, or refuse to give final approval post the full video editing process.
1.13 In the case where the Advertiser has delayed the approval process as detailed in the production deadlines, the Company reserves the right to continue raising an invoice and charging the Advertiser for the placements, as per the signed Advertising Contract.
1.14 The Company will issue a high-resolution version of the Video Material & Copy after final sign-off, within the production deadlines as stipulated within these Terms & Conditions.
1.15 The Company reserves the right to use the Video Material & Copy across any of the media platforms and properties owned and managed by the Company.
1.16 The Advertiser will gain full right to use the Video Material & Copy across any of the media platforms and properties owned and managed by the Advertiser.
1.17 Specific reference is made to the relevance and application of Clause 2.9 relating to Campaign Postponements.
